With the support of a small number of initial investors, WiseWithData is on mission is Ignite Open Analytics by helping companies embrace the power and simplicity of Apache Spark.
The company will be lead by President and CEO, Ian J. Ghent. Ian, a veteran analytics guru with decades of experience in SAS based analytics, has broad expertise across all areas of analytics including data warehousing, BI and Reporting, predictive modelling, NLP, graph analytics, signal processing, and simulation systems. His skills have been leveraged by companies across the financial, retail, telecom, government, healthcare, insurance and software sectors. Having recently left the SAS institute in a Global Security Intelligence solutions role, he’s looking to Apache Spark to democratize the field of analytics.
