September 1, 2026 – Ottawa, Canada: Wise With Data Inc. signs agreement to spin off rail innovation as separate firm Zero Drift Systems Inc.
WiseWithData is pleased to announce that a project from our technology incubator WiseLabs, is being commercialized and spun off as a new entity. The ZD Series 1 (ZD-S1), a patent pending adjustable rail fastening system, along with associated technologies will be exclusively marketed under the Zero Drift Systems brand. Under the agreement, Zero Drift Systems will have exclusive access to WiseWithData’s rail industry related IP, with an option to purchase all related IP at a later date.
Over the next several months, WiseWithData has agreed that current R&D efforts around the ZD-S1 and related technologies will be transitioned to Zero Drift Systems. Other commercial details on the agreement have not been disclosed.
While Zero Drift Systems is looking to modernize or more accurately revolutionize the rail industry, WiseWithData will continue to focus on the mission of modernizing legacy analytics. With this renewed focus, WiseWithData will be implementing some organizational changes. With the SPROCKET platform being 11 years old, and so well proven and mature, WiseWithData no longer needs a large R&D team to further improve the solution. The award winning SPROCKET solution has always been fast, simple and accurate, but is now feature complete with a flexible solution that includes tools for scoping, project planning, code conversion, data conversion and customer validation across all relevant execution platforms.
WiseWithData has a extensively curated partner network, trusted companies that understand the value of our proven rules-based engine, and don’t push untested AI slop on their customers. As such, WiseWithData has also made the strategic decision to transition to a partner-only delivery model, where we won’t be directly engaged in customer migrations. Any inbound customers will be directed to one of our trusted delivery partners.
